Scores of organizations sponsor community shredding services that are FREE to the public. For most people, these events are faster and easier than trying to dispose of this stuff at home. Up until now, it was never this easy to find a shred when you needed one.

I had a mostly positive experience on the glorious & historic day. My spot near the Wash Monument had great sound for the swearing-in and decent view of jumbotron. Not a discouraging word from anyone and everyone very happy. Oh how we all jeered at Dick Cheney! Only disappointment was limited access to the parade. On TV it looked like there was space for plenty more. Obama's speech was perfect for the moment, somber and serious. It's all up to us now, but we all deserve a shout for getting our man in office and sending Republicans packing.
